Fundraiser Update
We wanted to take the opportunity to say a BIG Thank You for participating in our fundraisers so far. Our school relies on them to provide learning materials for our school. Here is what has been raised so far for 2023: T-shirt fundraiser: $575
David Ginn Magic Stories Show
David Ginn will bring back the magic that our students enjoy!
Thursday, October 12th – T/Th Twos, Fours, & Threes A
Friday, October 13th – Toddlers, MWF Twos, Threes B & Kindergarten
Pumpkin Auction
We have the most creative teachers and parents! We love to show off their skills during our annual pumpkin auction fundraiser! Pumpkins will be on display on our website, Facebook page, and in the preschool lobby. The auction and voting on your favorite will take place from October 17th through October 24th.
Spirit Wear
We will have specific days each month when everyone can wear their St. Matthew’s t-shirts. Our spirit wear days for this month are Tuesday, October 17th and Friday, October 27th.
Halloween Parties
Yes! We wear our costumes on Halloween! Please refrain from wearing anything that would be scary. For children in diapers or who are toilet training, make sure the costume is easily accessible or removable. Bring extra clothes if needed. Please check with your teachers regarding your child’s party day.
Early Release
Since we loosely follow the GCPS school calendar, Wednesday, October 18th and Thursday, October 19th are Early Release days. School begins at the regular time (9:30) but will release at 12:00 (NOON) on both days. No lunch is needed on Wednesday or Thursday.
